I’m Supposed To Pay, Right?
I’m Supposed To Pay, Right?

This week, instead of working out 2 days, my goal is to work out 3 days. I know, I know… that’s still not a lot. But hey, it’s an improvement over last week, so I’ll take it. Getting into the habit of doing something new is really hard. But I know I need to do it to stay healthy. Speaking of healthy, it’s time for my trip to the doctor. Actually, it’s past time. I should have gone on or around my birthday. That was over a month ago. I won’t sit here and preach to guys about the importance of going to the doctor to get your check up until I get my butt in there.

Here’s a question: If I meet someone online and then we meet for a drink at my bar, am I supposed to comp her drinks? Yesterday, a girl dropped by that I had met on bumble. She sat down beside me and ordered a drink. Before I knew it, she had pulled out her credit card. I’m not what I would consider a cheap person. After the bartender grabbed her card, I told her that I would get her next drink. But it made me think about how to handle this in the future. I guess I’m supposed to pay, right? If we met at any other restaurant or bar, I would pick up the tab. But for some reason, it felt different. I did comp all of the food and drinks for my ex-girlfriend for 5 years. I guess it’s just been a while since I’ve done this and it was awkward for a minute.
