Big Al’s Blog: Is it Monday yet?
Big Al’s Blog: Is it Monday yet?

It was a pretty busy weekend but maybe things can kind of slow down a little bit for a minute or two. Friday, I started the day off riding my bike to work. Then, we did the show, which was full of action… After the radio show; it was time to get ready for the weekend. Because of all of the rain and storms that we have had lately, I changed Coolio’s flight so that he would arrive on Friday instead of Saturday (there was a wedding at my bar on Saturday and Coolio performed afterwards). Anyway, I didn’t want to take a chance on him missing the flight. Then, it actually rained Friday and his flight was cancelled so he was back to flying on Saturday. So, after changing his hotel, ground transportation and flight, it was back to work…

Korey-graduatesMeanwhile, My son Korey who has a bounce house business needed me to help him out on a job. Meaning, I needed to go to a school that he was doing a bounce house job, and be there so that I could tear down the 2 bounce houses when the kids were done “Bouncing.” He couldn’t be there because he was going to his Graduation (he got his masters degree). Anyway, that was the hardest job that I have done in a while. Letting the air out and letting it deflate and then rolling it up and putting it in the trailer. UGH…. FYI, Bounce houses weigh about 600 pounds. Then I hauled them to the bar. Friday evening, we had a Surprise Graduation party for Korey. Is it Monday yet? Nope, it’s just Friday evening.

Saturday was the big wedding. Getting the stage set up and getting all of the WEDDING PREP DONE. Tables needed to be moved, champagne and beer and food needed to be set up. Then, it was time to get dressed for the wedding. The wedding at the bar was actually pretty fun. More on that in my next blog.
