Big Al’s Blog: Karaoke, Parties & Hair

How was your weekend? Mine was fine, thanks. Haha. It was mostly spent without my girlfriend. She has a big exam today so she was pretty much studying all weekend so I didn’t see her a whole lot on Friday. But she did manage to get out a little bit on Saturday night and we even sang a little bit of Karaoke together. Our “go to” duet song is “Just give me a reason.” She pretty much nails her part of the song. I struggle when it comes to my part but at least I smile a lot while I sing off-key.

Anyway, the Big Birthday Party for Curtis is coming up this Sunday. Balloons, Hats, Party Favors, Guests and more stuff is all in the works. The only bad part is that it’s happening on football Sunday but its all good. Curtis is doing well after the month of school. Maybe, I should have gone to obedience school as well. Somehow, I have managed to miss 3 straight doggie grooming appointments. How did I do that? Life just got in the way.

Meanwhile, I missed my doggie grooming appointment and my sister flew from San Francisco to Dallas to get her hair done. Who does that? MY SISTER DOES! Geez girl. And she is not a rich girl. She is a school teacher. That must be one serious hairdresser! I’ve heard of ladies driving an hour or two but never have I heard of anyone flying across the country to get their hair fixed.
