Good to have The Krewe back after Gustav
After the wrath of Hurricane Gustav in south Louisiana, I was more than relieved to hear the voices of Kidd, Kelly, Al, JC, and Shannon this morning. In Baton Rouge, the station that usually broadcasts the show has been news and updates pertaining to the hurricane. These updates were needed, but I needed the comic relief and comfort of my own habitual normalcy by listening to the guys in the morning. Great show today. Welcome back to a somewhat normal life - even when still surrounded by devastation and tragedy of those around us.

I hear you girl! I got so tired of hearing the emergency system radio! I am having a hard time readjusting to "normal". It's like everything is out of sync and I can't get it all together. I am praying Ike goes elsewhere, but not necessarily to Houston to harm my daughter!

Our thoughts and prayers are with you guys. I said this morning, I don't know how you deal with the financial and psychological hardship you guys endure every fall.
It's great to be back on in Baton Rouge. After being pre-empted for several days, I expect our ratings to go WAY up.
