You wanted it, so we're bringing it back! Write about your secret, quirky habits that could be considered crazy. We could use your post in next weeks edition of "Does That Make Me Crazy!"
Not only do I count how many steps there are when I go up the stairs, but I count how many trees are on the street islands (dividers in the middle of the street). Usually it's an odd number...3, 7 or 9. Does that make me crazy?
When I am in public with friends and sometimes by myself, I pretend I am a star on the show The Hills, or my own show. I like to pretend I am famous. Does that make me crazy? :]
Stuff You Need For The Show........ I think you should ask people for their own stories, involving something funny, hysterical, idiotic, quirky, ridiculous......The Bridget Jones's Diary/KiddNation DiaryDiatribe...... lol, you know, (for those that have seen the show) Bridget Jones---the blue soup stories.........
Everyone loves to laugh. Everyone can identify, even the OCD's out there, with blue soup. LOL, Last year, I decided Thanksgiving would be at my house. Well, I bought every gourmet holiday cookbook on the stands. I thought....... "Hmmmmmm........ I am gonna really outdo myself . " So, I set out to make the most amazing Thanksgiving ever. I did everything by the recipe ... or so I thought. Anyways...... I start making the stuffing. The recipe called for real cranberries. Being as how I could never be mistaken for Betty Crocker, I didn't realize it meant to put the cranberries on like little decorations before serving. Needless to say, I put them in the stuffing mix prior to cooking. You wouldn't have guessed ........but cranberries melt while baking! They actually turned the stuffing a extremely unique shade of purple, more like dark brown mauve. It was hideous. I thought,"OMG! What am I gonna do?" LOL. I made plates and put the purple stuffing on them..... I smiled like nothing was remotely wrong. It was sooo funny to watch everyone's expressions. It was great, even some of my neighbor's came by. I told a relative to open the door like a hostess, tell people to come on in, and to tell them to say nothing just to eat the food. They had no clue. I would bring out a plate, with purple stuffing...... It was priceless to watch people move their food around. Some people truly are better than I am..... some pretended not to notice.........It was soo great!
