HOW DO I BLOCK A MEMBER FROM COMMENTING ON MY DISCUSSIONS, ETC?

you can't. You can set your page to private, and not accept them as a friend, but nothing with discussions

and maybe we can make a new rule... if someone is typing in all caps, look at punctuation and if it doesn't denote strong feeling, e.g. by the use of exclamation points, multiple punctuation marks, etc., then instead of meaning that we're yelling; it simply means we can't be bothered using capitalization and we happen to have more use for having the caps lock button on all the time, than not.

Why would you want to block anybody from posting to your discussions? If you only want to talk w/ specific persons you should just use e-mail.
