You learn of a once in a lifetime sure fire investment opportunity and have no other available money than your child's college fund. Do you use it?

There is never anything that is truely "sure fire", so no I would not use my child's college fund.

No. I don't feel that it is my money to use. It would feel like I was stealing from my child.

The only time I would use my child's college fund is if the family was truly in peril, and I would put it back as soon as the crisis had passed.
