The comic book is about difunctional superheros who seem conflicted. I didnt have expectations that I was going to see a love story or anything like that. The graphic novel was very dark and they did a great job adapting it into a movie. You have to sort of understand how corrupt human nature really is to understand/enjoy this movie. If you wanted to see a feel good super hero movie, this is not it. The characters are all pretty much effed up.

Another reason I think this is getting bad reviews is because it sort of revolves around the cold war back in the 80s. Too old/boring for this movie going generation.

Anyway I've been raving about this movie to all my friends. I would recomend it to anyone who enjoyed the GN or anyone who enjoys a dark complex storyline. Check it out!; ▶ Reply to This
