There’s something for everyone on the big screen with new movies hitting the theaters this weekend: Mama, The Last Stand and Broken City.

Mama

mama-movie-poster“Mama” is the story of two sisters, Victoria and Lilly, who disappear into the woods after their father murders their mother. After five years of continuous searching by their Uncle (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) and his girlfriend Annabel (Jessica Chastain) find the sisters in a cabin in the woods where they think the girls have welcomed others into their home.

  “Mama” got 67% on Rotten Tomatoes

 

The Last Stand

In “The Last Stand”, Sheriff Owens Arnold Schwarzenegger, leaves the LAPD to work for a border town on US-Mexico boarder. He is on a chase to capture Gabriel Cortez, the leader of a drug cartel, after he escapes and FBI convoy. Owens and Agent John Bannister work together to stop Cortez from racing to Mexico and escaping. Also staring in the film: Johnny Knoxville, Luis Guzman and Rodrigo Santoro.

  “The Last Stand” got 100% on Rotten Tomatoes

 

Broken City

Billy Taggart (Mark Wahlberg), ex-cop and private investigator, is seeking revenge after the mayor double-crosses him-played by Russell Crowe. Taggart becomes unstoppable and the mayor’s worst nightmare.

  “Broken City” got 23% on Rotten Tomatoes
