Emma Kelly is just exhausting right now. Much like walking and potty-training, she's delayed her terrible twos until now. I wish she would learn to be embarrassed. She'd be much easier to control.

The best part about my child getting sick is how snuggly she is and how it also gave me an excuse to cancel my workout. Tuesday was a bit of a jumbled mess. After hearing so much about it, I finally got to Twisted Root for a jumbo messy ooey gooey cheeseburger. My friend got the one I wanted -- with buffalo wing sauce and bleu cheese. So with a promise that if I get something different, we'll share, I got the one with green chilis and guacamole. Friday night I decided to run out really quickly to Toy 'R Us because they were having a 2-day sale and I figured Saturday would be a nightmare. I knocked out all the kids on my list!
