This won’t be eloquent, nor will it be well worded, succinct, or flow well. It won’t be politically correct. It won’t hold back or spare feelings. I work with a bunch of smart people. Not insinuating that I am...I'm kind of the lone wolf for the normal intelligence level peeps...but the rest of these people are super duper intelligent. Okay. Writing usually helps me sort my thoughts out, and right now they are all over the place. Here goes. I've wanted to be a vet as long as I can remember. I volunteered on top of a full time job and going to school full time from juco thru grad school. I'm going to foster dogs for a program here at the Vet school at Mississippi State University. Most dogs are in shelters because of behavior problems, and 25% of dogs in shelters are purebred. These are not bad dogs, unhealthy dogs, or useless dogs. Many simply don't know how to behave. With patience, I'm hoping to turn around some of their stories and help them find forever homes rather than being put down.
