i stumbled onto Burberry - I associated it with a woman's perfume...but I have a sales person that I befriended a long time ago that kinda knows my taste. He told me to try it and I really liked it!!
I agree Mel - but I gotta a feeling we are in the minority. I don't think most people can see outside of their personal 'box'
I got in trouble on Facebook for mentioning something about 'Xmas'. A slew of my friends instructed me that I should use ...
Long time listener of the show - I really like it but don't think listener's have to feign love for every thing about the show! I hope this new forum won't be a total praise fest......we all like the show or wouldn't listen! Even good things can be improved if we are willing to voice criticism!

Hey Mark, let me know what you decide about the band trip. It's a toughie.

Mark, WOW. Your comments about us teasing what's coming up were amazing. Incredible insight and begs the question.."Why not make them come back because of what you're doing right now, not what you might do later?"I should copy that and send it to the consultants!
So glad you posted about True Blood, I was hoping someone would, and if not I would have myself. Did they mention it by chance on todays show? I missed all but the last hour today. Peace
Like your style, Mark. I don't want a praise-fest here either. (Okay, sure I do, but it's not as helpful as honest discourse, as long as you're not Neggy Negerson all the time. ) I've gotten really good input from listeners here and I take it to heart.
Thanks for listening to the show. I'd write more but I have to go to work!

Hey Dev,
I've had the same type of personality for so long - I've become quite used to people who don't understand debate...let alone logic.
Pointing out typo's as a counter-argument is a sure sign of a lame discussion to come!
Personal attacks are the same type of weak approach. I was fortunate enough to take several logic courses in college. The first thing we learned was a list of standard fallacious arguments. An ad Hominum abusive (uh oh - I may have spelled it wrong!!) which simply is latin for a personal attack was one of the easiest to recognize
Don't let them get to you!
Oh yeah - sunglasses ==> I'm a lake rat & 'my future's so bright!' so gotta have my shades!!.
