Hi all. This is my first MB encounter. " Granola Girl" spoken here-probably should have been a hippy-. For the last 17 years I have been the wife of a wonderful, super special, computer nerd/CPA; and he happens to be a lot of fun. We have three terrific kids. I have been liberated from car seats and Sippy cups and have recently been promoted to "OK kids...gonna leave you home while I hit the store" Wahoo! I am love'n the freedom of having a pre-teen. When I am not cook, taxi driver, and home task-master, I am cleverly disguised as a pediatric nurse for a local hospital.

Road Trip!

If you ever plan to motor west

It took a 20 hour family road trip that is completed by most in 12 to convince us that anything over 8 hours driven would be trumped by an airline ticket…until this year. Ten minutes or less

I entered the healthcare profession with my eye on the prize of working as a pediatric transport nurse. Only a handful of hospitals offer this program, and although the training of the mind and skill are intense, I was never prepared for the training of the heart. First off he found a message board website where people post their computer problems and ask for advice. So he found a bunch of people who had posted the same exact problem with their computers. Electricity went out for some reason or other and the computer won't come back up. Our solution....He plugged in the computer...unplugged the harddrive, waited a few minutes then plugged it back in. Presto! it works again!! Is that not TOO kewl? Anywho...just thought I'd update ya! LOL
