- About Me:
- 31 yr old mom of 3 awesome kids and married to my husband Link (40yrs old) for 12 years, who I met online back in 1996 before the dating websites even existed! He helped me through the hardest time in my life. Ovarian Cancer at age 26. We had 3 kids under the age of 8, he worked 2nd shift in a factory so he could go to chemo with me during the day. Cancer is expensive even with insurance and to all those fakers who scam people out of their money by lying and saying you have cancer when you really don't, it makes those of us who did not receive any donations really pissed!!!I am happy and very blessed to say that I have been in remission for 4 yrs now and am so thankful we had our children so early in our marriage, even though so many people pointed and stared when we were out and about with them. After chemo, I spent 3 years as Branch Manager of a payday/title loan store, and I recently made the decision to go back to college to finish my degree to be an elementary school teacher! I take my classes online, so I am able to be home when my children get home from school. Money is tight, but the wants vs the needs are very clear to me after all I've gone through. While my life may seem overwhelming to many, it could always be worse. I thank God many times each and every day that my children and husband are happy and most importantly healthy!
