"I CAN'T DO IT!" the man yells from the top of Coward Mountain. "I AIN'T COMIN DOWN!"
We've all seen the movie with the character who's weak...who refuses to face his fear. He's the guy who DIDN'T run into the burning house to save the kids. The guy who DIDN'T jump in the fight to save his friend from the three thugs beating him up. The guy who DIDN'T get out of bed and search the house when his wife woke him up and said she heard a noise.
Right now, I'm that guy.
I don't talk about it much,…

Judy Lander in fifth grade didn't count. We never held hands. Lisa Shaeffer in sixth grade was my first girlfriend but not my first love. I didn't love her. She was pretty and I was just hanging out until something better came along. I was a player, like that.
Seventh grade brought a different crowd and Vicki Jones into my life. My first game of Spin The Bottle. My first kiss on the lips. Vicki was not so much hot as she was easy. I found out later I was the 4th guy i

No, I'm not fishing for a compliment. It's absolutely true. In fact, I'm not even CLOSE. On Facebook, Dane Cook has almost 1.7 million fans. I have 45 thousand. I am 1/40th the man he is on Facebook. On Twitter, he has nearly 1.4 million followers. I have a paltry 43 thousand. Just as bad. I'm assuming it's about 40-1 in every category...fans, bank account, girls, bench press, good deeds, stolen jokes, SAT score, golf, and pairs of purposely-ripped designer jeans.…

Sometimes I think we think we live in a world of fake. Fake designer bags and watches, fake breasts and noses, fake reality TV, fake news, fake bands singing fake songs, even fake hope promised over and over in a fake presidential campaign.

Pants On The Ground was a hilarious
American Idol…

Okay, actually, THANK YOU Shelly Miller for showing love to Get Over It on Examiner.com Here's what she wrote yesterday....
Kidd Kraddick in the Morning has a weekly feature called Get Over It! This little segment allows listeners to sound off toward someone who likes to weight in their (often unwelcome) opinion. The Kidd Kraddick in the Morning crew starts things off with their own "Get Over It" contribution and the rest come rapid fire! Below are some highlights from this mornin…

Kick 'em when they're up, kick 'em when they're down...
Don Henley's chorus from the song "Dirty Laundry" could be the soundtrack to the last week of Tiger's life. We built him up (and he helped) into a perfect human being...a winning machine who was not only better than us at golf, he was better than us at EVERYTHING.
Perfection is something I've never sniffed and I've made more than my share of regretable mistakes. Most people get to resolve their personal issues privately. Bec…

Under the heading of "best perks of being a morning show host", I sometimes get to see movies just before they're released. Tonight the whole show is going to see Twilight New Moon. I'm excited. I've seen Twilight 5 times (at first because Caroline made me and then 3 times just because I loved it).
Although I've only read the FIRST book, I'm by far the bigges…

Watch this space. We will be posting the ONLY original and official recipe for Kidd Kraddick's Brown Bag Turkey. Don't trust re-prints! Plus, Kidd has made an important change to the recipe this year that he says makes it 27% better!
In the meantime, here are some comments about the recipe from last year:

I can honestly say this may be the longest week of my life. :) I can't remember coming back from the Kidd's Kids trip so emotionally and physically drained. Everybody in the building is sick and I'm convinced I'm day one into Swine Flu. Getting to the weekend is my only goal... Caroline is coming in to visit so hopefully she'll be cool with just veggin' on the couch!
How amazing is it that a group of listeners who met on this board got together for a Thanksgiving dinner in front of our studio??…

When I was trying to make the high school basketball team, I went to a summer basketball camp and the coach was teaching us defense. He said that a good defender doesn’t even know what his opponent looks like, because he’s never once looked him in the eye. But he should be able to describe his shoes in great detail. Watch the feet. They can head fake ya, they can ball fake ya, but t…

It's 24 hours before our annual trip to disney world with 55 sick children and their families and I'm in "gear-up" mode. I gotta put my game face on so I'm not one of those people that gets emotional around kids who are sick. I just keep telling myself to "ignore the obvious" and treat 'em like regular kids. Then I go to m…

(StarPeople.com) On the heels of Miley Cyrus’s announcement that she’s leaving Twitter, many celebrities are following suit, including Lilly Allen and Courtney Love.
And yesterday, syndicated radio star Kidd Kraddick announced that he is quitting Xanga.

“I’m sick and tired of all the paparazzi knowing my every move by following my Xanga,” Kraddick said. He said…

John and Kate Risk Death and Dismemberment To Restore Ratings
Due to sagging ratings and bitter viewer reaction to their acrimonious split, TLC is scrapping the latest announced change to John and Kate Plus Eight. After revealing this week that the show would be re-named Kate Plus Eight, the network has done a drama…

My two biggest flaws are lack of patience and lack of appreciation for the moment. This is not something I decided…it’s been confirmed by most of my friends, all of my co-workers, an ex-wife, and four therapists.
I don’t like waiting for stuff or for things to happen. I’m convinced that If there was a place you could go and instantly be given total happiness and spiritual fulfillment, I would be the one going, “Ummm, how long is the line?” Let’s come back another time.
As for appreciating the…

J-SI came into my office bragging about how good he was and how he had taken everyone down. That surprised me because he's from Mexico and I didn't think he'd be good at it peen-pohn". (He's a crazy mexican!) But how good was he, REALLY? I only know J-SI to be good at one thing, and that’s thinking he’s really good at everything. (dramatic music) So did he really have skills? I was ready to find out. Oh yeah, I was tired from my 4 hour show followed by 4 more hours of intense meetings...and I kn…
