I'm the only person on planet Earth who can't figure out how to use an iTunes gift card. I scratched off the back...went to the website only to find out I couldn't remember any of my log in information...had that all emailed to me...then went back...couldn't find the "redeem" button...then couldn't find the pin number on the card. I give up!

Watched "American Idol" live and then went back and watched my Tivoed "Biggest Loser." Who's a bigger loser -- them or me? I'd say ME. What a waste of time and life to sit paralyzed in front of a television all night. And I'm absolutely SHOCKED by what the judges let thru on "AI." And this was only the first 12 or THIRTY SIX?!?! What the hell, J-Si?! Then, of course, I had to watch the fat people competition while eating fettucine alfredo and sipping diet Sprite. Yes, there is nothing more fattening on the planet than fettucine alfredo which makes it the perfect thing to eat while watching "The Biggest Loser."

I am now full, tired, cranky and completely disgusted with myself for wasting a perfectly good Tuesday night.

XO
Kellie

Kellie, it's all good. I've been a single mom of 5 for 14 years. There are worse things!!! Hang in there.

Speaking of AI, which is not very good this year, I hear y'all are having Miley Cyrus on. I thought you might be interested to know that according to fansites, she just recorded something with David Archuleta this week for her show. I hear he will be guest staring on the show and also recorded a song together. Will be interesting!! I glad you like his single, Crush!! You might be interesting in his Pro Bowl Nation Anthem - which he actually sang live.

Kellie, sometime I will see you out one night, get you toasted, make you dance like nobody is watching and convince you that you are too good for most men! Quit being so down on yourself...maybe you just haven't come across somebody worthy of your southern wit just yet!!

3-year-old Argyle girl drowns in septic tank 1:50 PM CT

01:52 PM CST on Wednesday, February 18, 2009

By Donna Fielder / Staff Writer

ARGYLE – Hundreds of volunteers joined a search for a 3-year-old girl here Tuesday night, but she was finally located in the last place anyone wanted to find her – the bottom of a septic tank.
400 block of East Hickory Ridge Circle

Alisandra Galvan, daughter of Vance and Myla Galvan and a member of the extended Galvan family that owns six high-end Mexican restaurants in the Dallas area, was declared dead at the scene about 12:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Argyle police Captain Temple Cottle said investigators had found nothing yet to indicate the death was anything but a tragic accident. The child’s body was taken to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.

The little girl didn’t come in with the other children who were playing in the backyard of the Galvan home in the 400 block of East Hickory Ridge Circle. Her mother called 911 about 6:45 p.m. saying she had been missing about 15 minutes.

Argyle police soon were joined by search teams from all over Denton County in an effort to find the little girl.

“She was outside playing ball with her brother and young uncles, and they came inside and she didn’t,” Cottle said. “They started looking for her and when they didn’t find her immediately, they called us.”

Cottle immediately called for help from the Argyle Frie Department, and several other search teams from other agencies and hundreds of volunteers joined the search.

“We finally had so much help that I had to start turning them down,” he said.

Several homes in the neighborhood have small ponds, and divers searched those areas, Cottle said.

The house sits on five acres in a new neighborhood on Hickory Ridge Circle off Hickory Hill Road. It is serviced by septic tanks. Cottle said the family has lived there less than a month. He said the septic system had three lids – two inside the back yard and one outside the yard.

“When we got there one of the lids in the yard was off. We focused on that as an immediate point of interest, but we also did an immediate ground search and searched the house several times.”

Officers probed the tank but could not find anything that way. When it was apparent that the child was not nearby, police asked for a septic company to respond. The truck pumped out the tank.

Lisa Galvan, Alisandra’s grandmother who lives at the home with her family said the family had just moved from Plano to live in the country. She said her husband had noticed that the drain cover was open Tuesday night and did not think it had been like that a few days ago. She said the top was flimsy and did not have screws to hold it in place.

Grandmother Sandra Byrne said she had stepped on it a few days ago and did not think anything of it.

Family members remembered the little girl who loved to sing and play the piano. She was named after her two grandmothers.

“She was my little princess,” Lisa Galvan said. “She was amazingly funny for her age and full of spirit.

“We always thought she would grow up to be an entertainer.”

Neighbor Ed Kirkham, 53, said that he has a grandchild about Alisandra's age and that his home is also on a septic tank. He, however, said he has not been worried about the tank because the lid is screwed down to prevent someone from falling in.

"It's tragic," he said. "It's something you never want to happen."

Neighbors Roger and Kristy Johnston said they had never met Alisandra but realized something was amiss when they returned from a meeting Tuesday evening and saw helicopters and search crews combing the area.

“We are so sad for the family,” Kristy Johnston said.

Capt. Cottle said investigators have not determined how the child fell into the tank or whether the lid had been removed at an earlier time.

“When it was empty we found her at the bottom,” Cottle said. “We don’t know at this point how the lid came off or when it came off. The family was shocked to learn it was off. We’re still investigating that.”

Family members were devastated, the captain said. And it was a sad time for the law enforcement officers who had hoped to find her alive.

“Every time you work one of these you hope it’s the last time,” Cottle said. “But it never is.”

Kellie, I was doing the exact same thing today! I got so frustrated, I had to leave my computer and come back to it. AS if, the "redeem" button option would appear. lol. I finally sent a text to my son, who's a senior in HS, and he text me back on where to go. HILARIOUS! Hope you got your itunes card redeemed.

Kelly dont listen to terrie(above) we all have to vent to not go crazy if others dont realize it it is their problem they just want the world to be all rosy along with the people except for them they have a right to complain. Anyway... dont say that you are a loser for watching the reality shows because that means I am. I love The Amazing Race started last week and Biggest Loser we all have to have something to enjoy and shows are harmless.

Kellie, we all have nights like those. ;) First off, that's how iTunes makes their money -- they require you to complete twenty steps to actually use your gift card and by that time you don't even want the damn music anymore.. haha. I'll have to agree with you about American Idol and when it comes to your evening meal... let's look at the good side, it was diet Sprite!
