pee girl, new girl, and boot camp
Ok, the pee girl is trying to make good. In case you haven’t heard, a girl, a friend of a friend, got drunk and spent the night on my couch that I LOVE. The next day, I noticed that she had peed on it and left my house without saying a word about it. I told her (thru my friend) the quote that I got which was $1300. To clean and replace the soiled cushions and fabric. i also told “the pee girl” thru her friend that I would accept $1000 and we would call it even. Hey, I know that’s expensive but it’s a pretty expensive piece of furniture. The pee girl met with my friend and after telling her that she needed a receipt, agreed to give me $500. Receipt??? Like im not going to get it cleaned??? Anyway, She wrote me a check and in the memo portion wrote “loser payment.” So, now I’M A LOSER… she pees on my couch, doens say a word…I STILL TO THIS DAY HAVENT RECEIVED AN APOLOGY… and im a loser??? You know, I understand the embarrassment thing that’s going on… but I really don’t understand the attitude. She’s mad at me? She peed on my couch and she’s mad at me??? Oh well. I will keep you updated and let you know if the check clears and if I actually get the other half.
Meanwhile, the friend that I have been hanging out with, not sure what her name is going to be, is doing ok. Ive said that I was going to be better for whoever I went out with next. So now I guess I have to put my money where my mouth is. So, I am going to plan a cool date nite for just her and me. And try to do all the things my last girlfriend said I didn’t do with her. my relationship skills are a work in progress to say the least. So I will try to keep you abreast of the things I do so you can tell me where I go wrong.
Boot camp started tonite and it wore me out. Im taking the class along with 3 other girls from work. Phone screener “jenna”, tamara and lyndsay. Despite them threatening to quit, we all made it thru the first day and I think they’ll do just fine. Its an hour long class and its 3 days a week. Stay tuned!!!

Al you are being too nice by giving her a "break" on the price of the cleaning. You are going to have to pay the full price to get it cleaned, and it wasn't even anything you did. And she has the NERVE to ask for a receipt!!! Al, You need to get a receipt stating that you received the check as a partial payment and that she it to pay the rest of it, whatever you decide that total is and have her sign it.
But I like what Pam said, I would write on the memo part that "I peed on his couch"

Comment by Ella on February 24, 2009 at 7:47pm - Once she woke up she was sober enough to know what she did. She knew she was wrong and sure was embarrassed but she still owes you. If she spilled something I would expect that she let you know and offer to clean it or at least help pay for it. Maye you can get two quotes and have her pay the difference. Its urine, if someone did that to something she owned she would feel the same way.

Good grief...If she doesn't pay you the other half Al, I would tell her that if she can't afford to pay it, that she might need to invest in a package of Depends before her next night out! That might teach her a lesson!!! LOL Have a great day Al~

Well Al my advice no more drunk people on your very nice, EXPENSIVE couch, these things can happen, people lose control of bodily fluids, so let this be another life lesson! She is the one who left without telling u what if you didn't notice and it started stinking when you bring a lady friend over...... Not good! so she is in the wrong she's not a loser but needs to get her priorities in order. Have a good one how everything works out 4 u.
