I know I could get on here and write about how I aspire to be a social worker and change the world, or maybe about the inequality that is inherent institutionally, or even about the fact that according to extensive research, 'race' as we know it is a culturally constructed fabrication.

However, I have an imminent question instead.

What the heck happened to Big Al's "Hip Hop Lounge Singer" bit?

I love Big Al as much as any Kraddaholic should - he's an integral asset to the KKITM crew. He effectively deters me from studying and being productive with his random shout-outs and his meaningless "good lookin' outs", and that is all well and good. . . but . . . I miss the lounge singer. You know, where he "breaks it down for whitey"?

Or what about Big Al's school tip of the day? That particular, short-lived bit taught me one of my favorite phrases: "If you omit, they can't do NOTHIN!"

Don't get me wrong - Al hasn't lost any of his hilarity on the show. I don't think he could ever lose the ability to make me laugh with tears streaming down my face. I'm just a little nostalgic for his former bits, because I can never have enough Big Al!

*Disclaimer: This blog is in no way intended to provoke, incite, or inspire anger from fans of Big Al. I am one such fan, and am merely attempting to walk down memory lane in my own, random, slap-happy way.
