SO glad to be home. The Bahamas is a really nice place to visit. Atlantis is like Disney World by the ocean. Not one negative thing to say about the trip other than the pain-in-the-butt flight getting out there. But I am SO glad to be home! I missed Emma Kelly so much. And when she rounded the corner in her little footie pajamas and ran towards me in that hip-twisting little trot she does -- I can't even begin to explain it other than using the words "euphoria" and "relief." She hugged me tight and said, "Hey, Mommy! Do you want to come read with me?" I LOVE HER!!!
I read some with her and then we watched a little Elmo and Barney and it was night-night time. She always wants to play with my hair before she goes to sleep, and she did that for a little bit, but then took my hand in hers and just held it until she fell asleep a few moments later. I can't think of a single thing I would rather be doing at that very moment EVER. And it all goes by so stinking fast. I swear she aged five months in five days. SLOW DOWN!!
Back to work tomorrow. Back to a normal life and a normal schedule and -- I pray! -- a normal diet!! Big week ahead. I get my blood test results on Thursday and I host Gay Bingo on Saturday. Whoo-hoo! My normal life rocks!
XO
Kellie
