Kiddnation

Just got EK to bed. She decided to take the "nestea plunge" on my bed tonight and her knee came up and hit her in the mouth where she hurt herself Sunday and it started bleeding again. Poor thing. Man, she adores me. It's SO great. She'll be sitting in the middle of the floor, playing with her puzzles or whatever, and she'll just say, "Mommy, I love you so much." How great is that??

Tried to work with her again on the tricycle today. She's just not getting the foot pumping thing down. Then I realized all the landscaping I paid for is dying, so I got out the water hose and let her get wet helping me. I'm trying so hard not to be persnickety about keeping her clean and dry and sanitized at all times. And she wanted to drink out of the hose, so I let her!! Didn't kill me when I was coming up!

I think I'm gonna no-show my follow up visit to Dr. Harris next week. I'm up almost 10 from my surgery in December and there's no way I'm going to let him look at me and then tsk-tsk me with his eyes when he sees the damage I've done to his handy work.

I did do better today. Didn't binge for the first time in about 10 days and haven't had a bite since supper. So rather than torture myself any further, I'm going to call it a night here in the next few minutes and hit the bed. Can't eat if I'm sleeping! And I've NEVER been one to get out of bed in the middle of the night to raid the fridge. Sleep is my only hope.

XO
Kellie

I have the binging problem myself..I can't have enough sugar. As long as I do my treadmill 3x a week and keep moving I'm good to go! Most of us have the same problem. We're all alike. You can have the bad and the good. Eat the food...enjoy. You're active...don't worry about it.

How precious, what a sweet little girl! Don't worry about the 10 lbs, who isn't trying to lose 10 lbs? You are beautiful Kellie!

"How great is that??"

Nothing compares period. I'm having those moments too!
Who cares about 10 lbs. You've got "Mommy, I love you so much" and you waited for that for a long long time. = )

My little boy is having trouble riding his tricycle also. I keep working with him but he just does not get the pedal movement.

Good for you for letting Emma Kelly do some 'normal' things that we all did growing up. Hope her mouth is better.
