I am in a mad rush now to get everything done before D-Day -- December 22. Or should I call it NB-Day? New Boobies Day! Or NBTT-DAY -- New Boobies and Tummy Tuck Day! Anyway, My Christmas is coming early so I'm running to the mall and to Target every chance I get. I've got the girls coming over Sunday to exchange Christmas between us and our daughters. And then it's a mad panic to get everybody else done and my Christmas tree up and my house in order and presents in the mail all before my parents arrive in a couple weeks. OOPS!! Emma Kelly's home! More later,

You won't have ANY regrets. In fact, you'll have wished you would have done it sooner. I had the boobs lifted and tummy tucked 2 years ago. I am a 40 year old mother of three- breast fed all of them. I was not overweight before the surgery- just loose skin from pregnancy. I gave my husband 3 beautiful children and I just wanted my body back. I can't tell you the confidence it gave back to me. I have been termed a MILF (hee hee) and now I feel worthy of the title. The recovery period becomes a blur. (Drugs are your friend at this time.) My recommendations for recovery- Rent-A-Center will rent out a motorized lift recliner. This aids TREMENDOUSLY in getting up and down. Your muscles are sore from your shoulders to your lower back. I used it for one week and then was able to return to my own bed. I also bought a, ahhhhem, toilet riser- Yep, I know. I know. But you don't realize how low the toilet is until you have major surgery on your core muscle group. I tossed it about 2 weeks post op. I live in a very conservative town; have my kids in private school. There are only about 5 people who know I had it done. I didn't lose any more weight from it (i am a size 6) but EVERYTHING fits better.
My hubby is an ER doc and told me to beware of weight gain in my thighs after surgery. That is where he sees people have put on weight vs. their tummies. I see it go to my lower back and thighs. I just try to workout those areas. But even when I do add a pound or two- I still look better than before surgery. You are going to be soooooooo happy with the results!
Go for it and good luck!!!!!!!!!!

So excited for your NBTT! You will love it. I got NB in April and everything went fine. Just take those pain pills and be ready to sleep sitting up for a day or two! With enough drugs you won't care. Totally worth the results. Just be super careful getting up and down-don't grab your caregivers hand and pull or push yourself up because that hurts!

Just wanted to say BEST of LUCK with everything!!!!! I had my NBTT done last year at this time and remember the crazy rush to get it all done before, as well. I'm sooooo glad I did it and LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the results. I'm sure that you will too!!!!!

Woo hoo for your upcoming NBTT day! Oddly enough I have been the right-hand girl for recovery for my many friends who have had these procedures and have somehow not gotten them done myself yet. Not because I don't want to have plastic surgery its just that I am just too scared. Keep us posted, which I am sure you will. I am curious and of course if you fall short from the caregivers that you will need during recovery, I am sort of an expert. lol All you have to do is ask and I'll be there.

As for your Christmas shopping, good luck! My family has resorted to "Name Drawing" on Thanksgiving so the stress level of shopping has been minimized not only on my wallet but also in finding the time to get it all done because I can now count on my hand again the people I need to get gifts for....haha!
