FlashForward Kidd Kraddick edition part six.

October 31st
"Yeah it's freddy are you surprised? Maybe this will teach you, and your little boss that you can't just mess with people like you did me. Maybe I'm not the best singer, but you all filled me with ideas that I would be the next big thing, and guess what? A boy in a balloon who wasn't even in the balloon got more press than me." Freddy said while grinning back at J-si who was in the back seat with a guy next to him. The other guy was driving, and freddy was in the Passenger seat. "Look that wasn't me. It was all Kidd's idea we just go along with what he says. I love your music defying gravity oh yeah thats what we're going to do defy gravity oh yeah" J-si continued to sing the only part of the song he knew. "Stop it! That's not how the song goes. I'm holding you hostage till I get a record deal, and a number one single" J-si sat up in the seat "Do you know how long it takes to get all that? I've gotta get married next year I'm not letting you ruin it" J-si said getting increasingly angry. "Look you better shut up. Just shut up, and let me do what I'm going to do." Freddy said while slamming his hand down on the dashboard.
Back at the halloween party it turned into more of "OH MY GOD WHAT DO WE DO PARTY" rather than a Halloween party. Of course they called the cops, and explained what had happen, but other than that they were basically doing nothing. Kidd, and Shanon were walking back and forth in the hallway for no apparent reason. Big al was throwing a football in the air, and Kellie was drinking away her fear. All the fellow party goers left, and the cops had already gone it was just the gang at Big-Al's house trying to figure what they could do. They didn't just want to sit there, but really what else could they do? The reasonable answer would be nothing let the cops handle it, but we're talking about the Kidd Kraddick in the morning show. Big-Al put down his football, and yelled to everyone "LET'S DO SOMETHING OUR BOY J-SI IS IN A CAR WITH SOME GUN MAN LETS GO LOOK FOR HIM" everyone looked at Big-Al "I don't know. We don't know where to look, or what would we do if we found him? They have a gun" Kidd said. That's what he said, but he was really wanting to just go like Big-Al said go try to find him. After a discussion among the group the decided they would drive around trying to look for anything that might help. Kidd was the only one who was sober enough to drive. They all hopped in the car, and took off.
Kellie: Turn on some music! I've got my ipod in my purse we can plug it in to the car.
Kidd: Yeah sure alright.
Kellie handed her ipod to him, and he plugged it in
Kellie: Woo Good girls go good, bad sometimes yeah i make them good bads go good.
Kellie tried to sing along to the cobra starship playing, but was having a little trouble.
Kidd: Do you have any songs on your ipod that don't include cobra starship?
Big-Al: Hey kidd stop by the studio.
Kidd: I doubt the hostage people are that stupid to take J-si to the studio.
Big-Al: No I know I just forgot my football at the house, so I want to stop by the studio to get the one I have there.
Kidd: Fine, Fine we're right by the studio anyways.
They drove a few blocks down the street to the studio, and all got out of the car some more easier than others cough Kellie cough. Kidd came up to the door first. Reaching for his key in his pocket he slid the key into the hole, but it was already unlocked "Did you not lock the door again, shanon?" He asked as he held the doorknob turned all the way, but not pushing it open yet "No I locked it. Maybe cappy came by, or something" Kidd shrugged and opened the door slowly peeking his head in seeing it dark inside. He walked in slowly with the crew following behind him "WHY IS IT SO DARK!" Kellie said way too loudly "Shhh" Kidd said as the whole crew froze as they saw a light peeking out from the bottom crack of the meeting room. "Okay everyone be quiet Cappy is the only other with the key, so lets text him, and see if it's him. Till we know for sure do not move from the spot we're in" Kidd said quietly. Big-Al sent a text to Cappy, and the wait began. A few minutes passed and still nothing "Maybe we should just leave" Kidd said as "Fall for you" started blaring loudly through the speakers on Al's phone "Shiiiiiiiiiiii" Al said as he quickly turned the sound off, and read the message out loud "No i'm at my house, but keep me updated on J-si" the fear in the crew became increasingly apparent when they found out it wasn't Cappy "Okay lets call the cops, and then we'll try to see who is in there" Big-Al said while dialing the phone. He explained the situation quietly to the operator on the phone, and they said they'd send a police man out right away.
Kidd: Who is going in first?
Shanon: No one. Let's try knocking first.
Kidd: Right, right. Okay I'm going to knock you all stay right here, and after I knock we'll all crouch down and hide.
Big-Al: We'll crouch down you can just stand like you are it's basically like crouching.
Kidd: Yeah and we'll use your head for a mirror to see down the hall with.
Big-Al: See why you gotta go there?
Big-Al takes a folded hat out of his back pocket, and puts it on.
Kidd: Okay I'm going to knock.
Kidd slowly walks up to the door, and knocks on it loudly then runs back and crouches down with the crew about 15 feet down the hall away from the door. The door slowly opened, and Freddy's head popped out of the doorway.
Freddy: I was expecting you Kidd. I should have known you'd show up to your workplace sooner or later. J-si is in here, and I have him tied up to a chair, and oh yeah we have guns in here. So I suggest you take my demands seriously, or J-si might be J-no more. Aha aha aha hahahahaha. Because si means yes in spanish. Oh i've gotta make that into a lyric. So Kidd wherever you're hiding this is what I want. A record deal. A song I can record that'll be an instant single, and well that's it. Get to it. Also I really need some gas money for when we make our get away, so if you could give me 30 dollars to fill up my tank that'd be great.
Kellie: OH SHUTUP FREDDY. you're amazingly stupid, and you suck as being a bad guy. What kind of bad guy asks for gas money?
Freddy: Someone better shut her up.
Shanon: Kellie lets go take a walk into the break room, and get some coffee.
Shanon and Kellie went off to the break room.
Kidd: How the heck are we going to do that?
Kidd whispered to Big-Al.
Big-Al: I have no idea we can probably get him a record deal, but a hit single?
Kidd: We're not going to get him anything the cops will have him arrested in no time.
About 15 minutes pass, and Kellie is doing her best to sober up, and the police had just called Big-Al's phone to give them some instructions. They thought it'd be best since the crew knew freddy if they tried talking to him before they got out of the building and tried to force him out. So the whole crew crept a little closer to the door all in a pack.
Shanon: Hey Freddy it's Shanon, and I know times are hard, and you really got your hopes up, but I mean J-si didn't do anything. If anybody you'd wanna take Kidd Hostage.
Kidd: Yeah thanks Shanon. I find it's always best to make suggestions to the Crazed hostage Man on who to take hostage. Hey I know! Do you have any suggestions for him on where to shoot me? Maybe the stomach? Arm? Leg?
Shanon: I'm not a freaking hostage negotiator you talk to him.
Freddy: Yeah Kidd talk to me. Why don't you build me up with this hope again. I'm going to be big huh, kidd? Really? Am I big kidd? Have I been on Ryan Seacrest's show? No I haven't.
Kidd: Ryan Seacrest wouldn't no talent if it was dressed up in a pretty pink shirt with pink buttons.
Big-Al: You know I bought redneck steve a shirt just like that at the store the other day. He looks so good in it.
Freddy: Wow yeah this is great and all. I mean I love hearing Big-Al talk about his gay adventures, but I don't see how this is getting me a record deal, and a number one single.
J-si: I'm writing a song with Secondhand Serenade I could just give you that one.
Freddy: Sing it to me.
J-si: Okay. It's like growl growl growl roar roar I love kinsey so so so much, and I just melt when I feel her touch touch touch.
Freddy: Just stop. Please before I put a bullet in myself.
Kidd: I liked it.
Freddy: Yeah you also liked me, and look where i'm at, kidd.
Big-Al: Look while you wait for us to get you a record deal. How about you start living the rock star life right now?
Freddy: What do you mean?
Big-Al: Well we just came from my Halloween party, and I brought a few little hotties with me. Open up the door, and they'll come in and give you the rockstar treatment, if you know what I mean.
Freddy: Alright, Yeah I deserve some rockstar treatment. I'm opening the door in 3 seconds.
1 2 3 Freddy opens the door, and just as he does Big-Al kicks the door back slamming it right into freddy's face. "I GOT HIM I GOT HIM I GOT HIM!" Big-Al yelled as he danced. "REMEMBER THE OTHER TWO GUYS WITH HIM? are they in there?" Kidd said warning Big-Al "OH RIGHT!"' Big-Al screamed as he ran away outside. "Well I guess i'll go look in there" Shanon said fed up with the whole freaking night. She walked inside the meeting room not really caring if they were in there or not. All she saw was J-si in just his underwear with his shirt wrapped around his eyes. "J-si where are the other guys?" Shanon asked. "I don't know they just started fighting on the highway and he kicked them out of the car" Shanon rolled her eyes "They suck at being hostages" She said as she untied Jsi. "Nice underwear J-si" Kidd said while laughing. "Shutup you'd pee your pants too if there was a gun to your head" Just then shanon stopped untying him "GROSS! you peed on yourself? Ugh. you untie him Kidd"
They finally untied J-si. The police questioned them all, and Freddy is in Jail. Everything was good again after that huge scare the whole crew was nearly inseparable for the next week.
November 6th
The crew had just finished the show, and were about to head their separate ways for the first time since the incident. "Well I guess I'll see you all on Monday" Kidd said right before his phone rang it was a number he didn't recognize "Hello?" Kidd said into the phone "Hey I'm calling about the posters you put up in Austin about Jack" Kidd's face brightened "Yes! Did you find him?" Kidd asked nearly shouting into the phone "Well he's in our hospital" Kidd's face was no longer brightened "Oh my gosh what happened? Is he ok?" The whole crew watched Kidd wondering what the heck was going on "Yes he's going to be fine, but he got run over by a car he was walking down the Highway, and some car didn't see him. He has a broken leg, and a few bruises but other than that he's fine" "We'll be down there ASAP" Kidd said as he hung up the phone, and told the crew the good and bad news. "I'm driving" Kellie said as she grabbed her keys and ran to her car. "DON'T WORRY JACK! NURSE KELLIE IS COMING!" She said with a squeal.

Btw I apologize for the sucky chapter today, but yeah mind wasn't working that good this morning, or last night. DEAL WITH IT!

Comment by Tammy on November 6, 2009 at 9:40am - Orange, you underestimate yourself. Maybe it wasn't as 'edge-of-your-seat' suspensful as the rest have been, but it was still very good. You tend to capture the crew so well that I can actually hear their voices doing the dialouge and your visualization skills are excellent too....... I had no trouble at all actually "seeing" everything as it played out, in my minds eye. All the way down to Big Al's shiny head.... lmao!! Kudo's my friend.... I will once again try to wait patiently for your next chapter. As always, your 'greatest fan' , Tammy ;)
