halloween, mexico style!

Yay, mexico today! For those that may be new here, me and a buddy bought a bar in playa del Carmen, mexico a a little over year ago. Its called big al and redneck steve’s beer bucket. It’s a dive bar 2 blocks from the beach. But it does give me an excuse to go visit about every 6 weeks. We’re having a big Halloween party there Saturday night and im the dj! I’ll only be there for about 40 hours or so but it should be a lot of fun!

I got to do something pretty cool last night. the idea came from my child hood. We didn’t have a whole lot of cash when I was growing up but that didn’t keep us from being creative. I remember one year that my mom wasn’t able to buy me a costume for Halloween. So I made my own. I guess I was 10 years old or so. And I wanted to be SUPERMAN. So I put on some shorts and I got a big towel to use as a cape. I fastened it around my neck with a clothes pin. I WAS superman!

Anyway, we got with this place called party city a few days ago and asked them if they would give us some Halloween costumes and they did. then we took them down to this charity place called “Shared Housing”. They help families out that are having rough times. They were having a little party last night and there were lots of kids there. Every kid at the party got a Halloween costume. It was really cool. J-si went with me. good looking out j-si!
