MY TURN DAY

Life seems to suck lately. People I know are loosing jobs and homes. Every night at the dinner table when I watch Charlie Gibson, the news is more and more bleak. The outlook of America seems grim. Yet, I don't feel down in the dumps. Why? Because I feel like we're moving and I'm a part of that move. I feel like despite where we are today, the bar has been raised and everyone will rise to the occasion. I feel pride in my country and the world. I feel like we're finally done talking and ready to start doing. And sure, it's taken desperate times and new lows for us to decide to finally act, but I think that we as people are finally realizing the importance of "thinking globally" and we are acting on it!

Recent change in leadership at the top has energized everyone and I'm no different. This change has given me a fresh breathe and a new outlook. There are new ideas, which are resulting in new goals... for me and for us as a nation. A world of new ideas, mixed with renewed energy that is harnessed constructively is a world to be excited about... no matter what Charlie Gibson reports each night.
