Ouestion Issue.

I work for the state and I find it VERY hard to go out and party when 50% of the people there are people I have been to visit in jail, or overseen there Jury trials…. I have 3 good friends who also work for the state and we all feel the same. I was wondering if you could get a nice bar or club to throw a State workers ONLY party??? I’m sure a lot of state employees find it hard to go out. Like State Police, Support and enforcement, Child welfare, and State Courts. It sure would be nice to go out and be able to enjoy myself knowing that I am not surrounded with people I helped put in jail or people that need to be there. Lol also knowing that everyone was employed and worked to be where they are would be FANTASTIC!!! I do live in Pendleton but I would gladly drive up to 3 cities to enjoy myself around a bunch of good people!!! I know quite a few police officers and it is hard for them to go out when people know them or hate them.
Or even County and State and City workers.
I sure would love it if you could look into throwing a party or something fun for us upstanding HATED justice system employees.

Comment by Lisa on July 3, 2009 at 10:49am - Same issue here, we just all band together and throw a huge backyard bash for around 300 people, but we have the yard room. Maybe rent a banquet room?
