So...She Thinks She Can Dance!

My daughter loves music! It must be all the American Idol I watched when I was pregnant. Or, it could be all the stuff I played in the car on my twice weekly drive to Tyler during my last trimester. Whatever it is, she loves it! She dances and sometimes "sings" but it has to be an upbeat song. I can remember the trip to the ER when she split her head open on the dresser and we tied on a fake bandage until we could get there. She gets in mommy's car, hears Justin Timberlake and decided that she needed to get her Sexy Back. Sure shows you who was more concerned about her head. Just a hint, it wasn't her! =)

We've been watching American Idol and I'm proud to say that my daughter claps after the auditions--even the ones that really suck! She can be compassionate AND cute at the same time. :heh heh: She turns and dances in circles when Dancing with the Stars comes on.

Her funniest one yet is the need to do the Beyonce dance to "All the Single Ladies". She does the dance showing the ring and I couldn't stop laughing when Beyonce started saying Uh oh Uh Oh. Then my peanut decided Beyonce must have dropped something because she started saying Uh Oh, over and over again.

What a wonderful thing to have a child that loves music. She is definitely a girl after my own heart. I always say even on the worst day, a good song can cheer ya up a little.
