vacation!!!!!
This wont be a terribly long or interesting blog tonite. Its 12:40am and im just now about to get into bed for a quick nap and get up to try to break the world recrd of moonwalking in the morning. Wow, 3.3 miles of moonwalking? Man…if I can pull this off, it will be an act of God!
Today was mom day. I was going to try to doo daddy duty today as well but we worked a bit longer than I had thought so I didn’t get to run dad to dialysis this morning. But I did take mom to the spine doctor. This is the dude that I met in the elevator at my apartments and he had a great bedside manner. He talked to my mom like he really cared about her. that’s bonus points there! He asked a series of questions and then pinched here and touched her there. And finally he decided to give her some sort of steroid shot in the back. He also signed her up for some physical therapy and ordered an MRI on her. dang it, we’re gonna find out what the deal is and if there is ANY other treatment other than surgery, we will find it. nothing majkes me feel worse than my parents not feeling well and I feel so helpless. My sister has been doing a lot more to help out so I need to pick up the slack and help out more. She lives across the street so naturally, they call her and she pops over way more than I do. but I AM gonna do more!
But back to the doctor, kellie, I think you might like this one. I told him about kellie and I think he’s interested. He doesn’t know she is “radio” kellie. In fact, he doesn’t know im “radio” big al either. He’s from out of town and not very familiar with stuff around here. Which makes it that much better. Im gonna see what happens with a “big al set up.”
He’s from Europe Kellie! But sorry…no accent!
Ok, im gonna get in bed and take a 2-3 hour nap and get up and be great at work tomorrow and then im gonna get on a plane with my girlfriend and head to mexico to check on “big al and redneck steve’s beer bucket.” We’re having a big party for the first Friday of the month and then we’re having a bigger party for the 4th of july!

Yeah, why does Kidd not have to keep up his blog???...He hardly ever writes on it. I've even stopped checking it.. One thing I can say about you and Kellie is you are both consistent with keeping up your blog.
That's two nice things you did Al.. You took your mom to the doctor, and you are fixing Kellie up with him..What part of Europe is he from? He must have moved to the U.S. at a young age and that's why he doesn't have an accent? Kellie just might find her a new guy in New York....
When you talk about helping your parents, it does make me think of when my time will come to be doing these very same things. I agree with you that it will be difficult because we are so used to seeing them strong and able to do everything for themselves.
