A federal judge has ruled that the “Blurred Lines” lawsuit filed by the family of the late Marvin Gaye will go to trial. The judge says there’s a genuine dispute about whether the song by Robin Thicke and Pharrell Williams copied certain elements of Marvin’s song, “Got To Give It Up.” Robin and Pharrell have been battling it out with Marvin’s kids for more than a year. The Gaye family also claims Robin improperly used Marvin’s “After the Dance” for his song, “Love After War.”

Christian Bale is signed up to play Steve Jobs in Sony’s version of the movie, and now it’s being reported that Seth Rogen is being considered for the part of Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak. Producers also want Jessica Chastain for a role, but they can’t decide which one she would be best playing. The movie is based on Steve’s authorized biography by Walter Isaacson……that I STILL haven’t finished reading.

Celebrities really are just like us — they all have a big mouth friend! Jessica Biel’s good buddy, InStyle Editor-in-Chief Ariel Foxman, posted a Throwboack Thursday photo on Instagram yesterday, showing him and Jessica on a red carpet from two years ago. He captioned it, “Congrats @jessicabiel on your impending motherhood. Looking forward to the red carpet maternity style pix to come #tbt.” It’s a private account, so maybe he didn’t think anybody would see it — ???

Miley Cyrus and Rihanna had a little red carpet competition at the amfAR Gala Auction in LA last night. Who could get away with showing the most boobage? That’s up to you decide after googling the pictures. Once inside the gala, it was then a competition to see who could spend the most money on auction items. Rihanna paid $35K for a pair of Harry Winston diamond link earrings and another $100K on a photograph of Elizabeth Taylor that was signed and numbered by the artist. Miley dropped $300K on a Ryan McGinley photograph, explaining, “I’m a little drunk.” She then donated another $200K to the charity.

Amanda Bynes held it together long enough to fool a hearing officer at the psychiatric hospital where she’s been treated for the past 2 weeks. She convinced him she was well enough to be released. Unfortunately, that was before Amanda’s mom could shave her conservatorship reinstated. Last night, Amanda was photographed wandering down the Sunset Strip, searching for a place to stay. TMZ is reporting that she was turned down at several places. Amanda then went to a diner where she ordered a ton of food and chatted up a waiter, telling him she was shy because she had a procedure done on her face and had to wear a bandage.
