Amy Schumer hits back after ‘fat shaming’

Jennifer Lopez has more Vegas shows… Sofia Vergara is being sued… Blac Chyna is ready to take on the Kardashian name… Prince Harry is costing taxpayers money… and Amy Schumer hits back after ‘fat shaming’

Do you have plans for September or October 2017? Because Jennifer Lopez has added more dates to her Vegas residency! JLo’s “All I Have” debuted at Planet Hollywood back in January and by the time August rolled around, she had sold more than a million dollars in tickets, making it the highest grossing run in Planet Hollywood history!

Sofia Vergara is being sued by her frozen embryos. Her former fiancé Nick Loeb has not only been fighting to keep the embryos from being destroyed, he wants a surrogate to carry the babies for him to raise and have Sofia’s parental rights to the children terminated. But now Nick is trying a different tactic….or actually, the embryos are. The female embryos — who are now known legally as “Emma” and “Isabella” are now filing on behalf of themselves for the right to live. Their lawsuit contends that by not being born, they are being deprived of an inheritance from a trust that has been created for them in Louisiana, a state that offers special legal protections for frozen embryos. The lawsuit also claims that because of her Catholic beliefs, when she was engaged to Nick, Sofia was adamant that the embryos never be destroyed. However, once she moved on to Joe Manganiello, her religious beliefs went out the window.

Blac Chyna has had Rob Kardashian’s baby, now she’s ready to marry him and take on his name. In fact, she’s already filed a request to trademark what will become her new name, Angela Renee Kardashian. But the Kardashian girls are fighting back. According to documents obtained by TMZ, Kim, Khloe and Kourtney say if Chyna gets this trademark, the remaining Kardashians will “suffer damage including irreparable injury to their reputation and goodwill.” So basically, they say she can marry their brother, but she can’t make a dime off the Kardashian name.

After wrapping up his 15-day tour of the Caribbean, Prince Harry was supposed to fly home to England. Instead, he reportedly canceled his seat on a British Airways flight and booked another flight to Toronto so he could see his girlfriend, Meghan Markle. That’s sweet and all, but this is actually costing the British taxpayers a lot of money because Harry requires police protection.

After it was announced that Amy Schumer signed on to play the live version of Barbie in an upcoming movie, she was trolled mercilessly on social media. But Amy says nobody can fat shame her because she is NOT ashamed of her body. She posted a picture of herself walking on the beach in a bathing suit and captioned it in part, “Thanks to everyone for the kind words and support and again my deepest sympathy goes out to the trolls who are in more pain than we will ever understand. I want to thank them for making it so evident that I am a great choice. It’s that kind of response that let’s you know something’s wrong with our culture and we all need to work together to change it. Anyone who has ever been bullied or felt bad about yourself I am out there fighting for you, for us. And I want you to fight for yourself too! We need to laugh at the haters and sympathize with them. They can scream as loud as they want. We can’t hear them because we are getting s–t done. I am proud to lead by example. ‘I say if I’m beautiful, I say if I’m strong. You will not determine my story. I will’ #thegirlwiththelowerbacktattoo.”

Very very honored to be nominated for 2 Grammys and to be considered to play an important and evolving icon. Is it fat shaming if you know you're not fat and have zero shame in your game? I don't think so. I am strong and proud of how I live my life and say what I mean and fight for what I believe in and I have a blast doing it with the people I love. Where's the shame? It's not there. It's an illusion. When I look in the mirror I know who I am. Im a great friend, sister, daughter and girlfriend. I'm a badass comic headlining arenas all over the world and making tv and movies and writing books where I lay it all out there and I'm fearless like you can be. Thanks to everyone for the kind words and support and again my deepest sympathy goes out to the trolls who are in more pain than we will ever understand. I want to thank them for making it so evident that I am a great choice. They can scream as loud as they want. We can't hear them because we are getting shit done. I am proud to lead by example. "I say if I'm beautiful, I say if I'm strong.
