Angelina Jolie gets ovaries removed

“Dancing With the Stars” update… Are Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom hooking back up?… Bobbi Kristina Brown was moved… Scott Disick has left rehab.. and Angelina Jolie gets ovaries removed

SPOILER ALERT:  The first celebrity eliminated from “Dancing With the Stars” last night was………..Redfoo! The audience didn’t like it too much. Lots of boos on that one. But, as host Tom Bergeron reminded all of us, “This is somebody who did a great job and because of viewer votes … and a tenth of a percent, a tenth of a percent.”

Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom separated back in 2013 and, as far as we know, they aren’t officially divorced yet. And they might even have a change of heart about going through with it! Sources say the two of them enjoy “hooking up whenever the mood and opportunity strike.”

We haven’t done an update on Bobbi Kristina Brown lately because her situation simply hasn’t changed. After almost two months in a coma, she was moved from a hospital to a rehab center last week. But a source told RadarOnline.com that was because of hospital policy and not because she has shown any signs of improvement.  Her father Bobby Brown is still agonizing over the decision to remove her from life support. Being a religious family, they’re all still praying for a miracle.

As expected, Scott Disick has left rehab in Costa Rica. Sources say he feels like he has too many work commitments right now to make health and sobriety a priority, so he can only handle one week of rehab at a time. As for now, he’s promoting this weekend’s appearance hosting a party at 1OAK in Las Vegas.

Angelina Jolie wrote an op-ed piece for the “New York Times” yesterday, revealing that she had surgery to remove her ovaries and fallopian tubes last week after doctors detected early signs of cancer. She wrote, “Two years ago I wrote about my choice to have a preventive double mastectomy. A simple blood test had revealed that I carried a mutation in the BRCA1 gene. It gave me an estimated 87 percent risk of breast cancer and a 50 percent risk of ovarian cancer…I promised to follow up with any information that could be useful, including about my next preventive surgery, the removal of my ovaries and fallopian tubes.” And that’s what she did. She also revealed that because of this surgery, she’s been forced into menopause. But, she wrote, “I know my children will never have to say, ‘Mom died of ovarian cancer.’”
