Billy Bush is Officially Done at the ‘Today’ Show

Robin Williams bike collection up for auction… DWTS spoiler alert… Liam Payne has TWO solo record deals… Amy Schumer’s Donald Trump rampage… and Billy Bush is officially done at the ‘Today’ show

You may not know this, but Robin Williams was an avid bicyclist. And now, two years after his suicide, his three children have put 87 bikes from Robin’s collection up for auction, with the proceeds going to two charities their father supported. The Challenged Athletes Foundation supports athletes with disabilities, and the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation funds research and support for people with spinal cord injuries. The bikes will be up for auction on Paddle8.com through October 25. One polka-dotted luxury bike has already gotten a $19K bid!

SPOILER ALERT: Even though she didn’t win the Mirror Ball trophy, Amber Rose says she is walking away from “Dancing With the Stars” with a “brother for life.” She posted on Instagram, “Although our time was cut short@maksimc I’m so happy I had the chance to experience this with you! You truly are my brother for life! Who knew we would become so close in such a short amount of time? Thank you for not giving up on me and getting to know the real me with no judgment I’ll love you forever for that reason and I’ll always have ur back through whatever. I’ll miss our stressed out rehearsals more than anything tho 😂 Love Amberony.” Maks responded with, “My dearest Amberony! Thank you for some of the best weeks of my @dancingabc career! You’ve not let me down and only made me more and more proud each week. You’ve become a friend and an older sister (although you’re younger….you know what I mean :)), and this is definitely just the beginning of ‘Amber and Maks.’ This experience got cut short and I wish we would have just a few more weeks, but it happened exactly as it were meant to and I have absolutely no regrets. The world has yet to see what you can really do and I can’t wait to be in your corner when it does…. Love, Me.” Maks won’t be back next season because he and his fiancee, Peta Murgatroyd, are expecting a baby.

Liam Payne has now signed not one, but TWO solo record deals. The first one he signed with Capitol Records UK back in July. But yesterday, Liam announced that he’s also signed a solo record deal over on this side of the pond with Republic. Republic has a great track record with superstar acts like Drake, Nicki Minaj, The Weeknd, Ariana Grande and — now — Liam Payne! No word on when we can expect to hear any of his new music.

About 200 people got up and walked out of Amy Schumer’s show in Tampa Sunday night when she went on a Donald Trump rampage, calling him an “orange, sexual-assaulting, fake-college-starting monster,” among other things. She asked one Trump supporter to join her on stage so he could explain why he was voting for him. He said it’s mainly because he doesn’t trust Hillary Clinton. Amy asked, “Do you get worried at all with how impulsive he is? That he gets so fired up from ‘Saturday Night Live’ doing a skit on him?… Do you worry he’ll be impulsive and get us in a lot of (BLANKING) trouble we can’t get out of?” That’s when people started booing. Amy then told the crowd that anyone booing could leave with the help of security. And that’s when a couple hundred decided they didn’t need the help of security. They could leave on their own. Some tweeted later that if they wanted political commentary, they would’ve stayed home and watched CNN. They were there for some joke! But Amy later issued a statement saying, “I loved the crowd and my show in Tampa last night! I want to thank the 8,400 people who stayed. We had a great time! We have always depended on comedians to make us laugh and tell the truth. I am proud to continue that tradition.”

On the “Today” show this morning, Matt Lauer gave Billy Bush a brief sendoff. He said that NBC News announced last night that Billy would be leaving “Today” effective immediately and he added, “All of us here at ‘Today’ wish Billy the very best.” Billy issued his own statement, saying, “I am deeply grateful for the conversations I’ve had with my daughters, and for all of the support from family, friends and colleagues. I look forward to what lies ahead.” Billy was suspended last week over the behind-the-scene comments he made during a 2005 “Access Hollywood” interview with Donald Trump. But everybody knew he wasn’t coming back. It was all a matter of how many zeros were going to be on that exit check! Billy had just started his new gig at “Today” in August. NBC sources told “Page Six” that he’s likely to get a $10 million lump settlement, which would be the full value of his three-year contract. However, the amount of his settlement won’t be disclosed.
