Kanye West Is Writing A Philosophy ‘Book’ On Twitter

Starbucks is closing ALL of its US stores… Abby Lee Miller’s diagnosis… SNL hosting lineup… Aaron Rodgers and Danica Patrick’s cool date… and Kanye West is writing a philosophy ‘book’ on Twitter

Starbucks is closing ALL of its US stores on the afternoon of May 29 because they’re making all of their employees take a racial-bias education course. This moves comes after two black men were arrested at one of their Philadelphia stores last week. They came into the store and sat down. The manager — who is white — told them they had to order a drink or leave, but they said they were waiting for their third party to show up to order. That’s when she called the police and had them arrested for trespassing. That manager is no longer with the company. Starbucks CEO Kevin Johnson can’t apologize enough. He released a statement apologizing…he met the two men arrested and apologized face-to-face…and now on the afternoon of May 29, nearly 175,000 Starbucks employees from 8,000 stores, as well as those working in the corporate office, will go through training designed to “address implicit bias, promote conscious inclusion, prevent discrimination and ensure everyone inside a Starbucks store feels safe and welcome.” The only other time Starbucks closed all of its locations at once was in 2008 for espresso training.

Former Dance Moms’ star Abby Lee Miller has been preliminarily diagnosed with Burkitt Lymphoma, a non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Her orthopedic spine surgeon told Entertainment Tonight that the prognosis is good, but they’ll know more details soon. Abby was rushed into surgery Tuesday suffering from extreme pain in her back, arms and neck. During a CT scan, the doctor discovered a mass infection putting pressure on her spine. The doctor said if she hadn’t had that surgery, she could have died!

Saturday Night Live has announced their upcoming hosting lineup. On May 5, Donald Glover hosts with musical guest Childish Gambino. The following week, it’s Amy Schumer with musical guest Kacey Musgraves. And then on May 19, Tina Fey is back on her old stomping grounds to host with musical guest, Nicki Minaj.

Get excited for the last three shows of the season! #SNL

Aaron Rodgers and Danica Patrick just went on the coolest date ever. They flew to Africa for a mission trip with the Starkey Hearing Foundation and helped fit 100 children and adults with hearing aids. They also went to India with the same charity. It was there that Aaron met with the Dalai Lama, who looked tickled pink over Aaron’s gift of a Packers cap and football.

In a recent interview, Kanye West told the Hollywood Reporter that he was writing a philosophical book called Break the Simulation. And then over the weekend, Kanye fired up his dormant Twitter account and started tweeting up a storm. He explained — tweetplained? — “Oh by the way this is my book that I’m writing in real time. No publisher or publicist will tell me what to put where or how many pages to write. This is not a financial opportunity this is an innate need to be expressive.” He went on to say that he will work on this “book” when he feels like it. And if you feel like it, you can follow along @kanyewest.
