“Nashville” fans were thrilled when the show was saved from cancellation by CMT, but they may be a little less thrilled when they find out that a couple of characters won’t be coming back. TV Line is reporting that Will Chase, who plays Luke, and Audrey Peeples, who plays Layla, are not making the move over to cable.

Tom Hiddleston finally commented on his relationship with Taylor Swift. Or did he? Tom allegedly called into a radio show in Belgium and the DJ asked him about his relationship with Taylor. Tom said, “I would describe it as a roller coaster ride of action and spectacle and lots of laughs….She is an absolute delight…She’s got such a wicked sense of humor and she’s a really fun person to have around.” But did he really say all those things about Taylor? People started accusing the DJ of splicing together old interviews just to make it look like he got the exclusive scoop, and the radio station was forced to admit it was a joke.

“The Shallows” this weekend, keep this in mind. Blake Lively’s bloody nose in one scene is completely real. There’s a scene where she’s under a rusty, metal buoy, and when she pulls herself up, she cracks her nose on the bouy and ends up with a bloody nose. She said, “That was real! I thought I was either going to pass out or like my nose was going to look like a Picasso painting or I was going to have a really, really cool scene. Luckily, we ended up with a cool scene.”

Selena Gomez, Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Zayn Malik and Britney Spears are among the almost 200 musicians and music executives who are teaming up with Billboard magazine to campaign Congress to pass stricter gun regulations. They’ve all signed an open letter in this week’s issue, which has “Stop Gun Violence Now” on the front cover. This comes after the deadliest mass shooting in US history at an Orlando nightclub earlier this month. Also mentioned in the open letter is the murder of Christina Grimmie, who was killed during a meet and greet by an obsessed fan.

Katherine Heigl is pregnant! She and her husband Josh Kelley confirmed to People magazine that they’re expecting a baby boy in January. The couple are the adoptive parents of 7-year-old Naleigh Moon and 4-year-old Adelaide Marie Hope. Katherine says she and Josh talked about adopting before they were even engaged. She was inspired by her parents, who adopted a little girl from Korea 3 years before Katherine was born.
