Kelly Osbourne has left “Fashion Police”

Box office weekend news… Justin Bieber celebrated his 21st… Michelle Rodriguez is apologizing… Lupita Nyong’o’s Oscar dress has been returned… and Kelly Osbourne has left “Fashion Police”

It was one of his weaker openings, but Will Smith’s “Focus” was number one at the box office this weekend, earning $19.1 million. Even his stinker “After Earth” opened bigger with $27.5 million. Coming in second was “Kingsman: The Secret Service” with $11.8 million. “The Spongebob Movie: Sponge Out of Water” was third with $11.2 million. And falling all the way down to fourth was “Fifty Shades of Grey” with $10.9 million. But overseas, the movie is still number one for the third week in a row. So far, it’s worldwide total box office take is $486.2 million.

Justin Bieber celebrated his 21st birthday popping bottles in the Caribbean on an island near Grenada. Among those helping him celebrate were his good buddy Hailey Baldwin and Yovanna Ventura — an 18-year-model Justin saw last year when he and Selena Gomez were on a break, but based on the pictures from this weekend, Justin and Yovanna are back on. Justin’s longtime manager Scooter Braun didn’t make it to the party because he’s home with his wife and one-month-old son. But he posted on Instagram, “Where did the time go? Happy birthday my guy. Big 21. I don’t remember mine. Haha. Have fun. Proud of u.”  And Justin tweeted, “Grateful to be alive!!! Love u!!! 21. I love everybody!”

Michelle Rodriguez is apologizing for saying minorities should stop taking all the white superhero roles…..sort of. She still stands behind what she says, she just wants to make sure we understand what she meant. So a photographer asked Michelle about this rumor that she was being considered for the role of the Green Lantern. She said, “That’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard… I think it’s so stupid… because of this whole, like, ‘minorities in Hollywood’ thing… it’s so stupid, it’s, like, stop stealing all the white people’s superheroes. Make up your own, you know what I’m saying? What’s up with that?” After getting slammed on social media, Michelle posted a video saying, “I have a tendency to speak without a filter. Sorry about that.” She went on to say, “I’m just saying that instead of trying to turn a girl character into a guy, instead of trying to turn a white character into a black character or a Latin character, I think that people should stop being lazy and people should actually make an effort in Hollywood to develop their own mythology.”

So Lupita Nyong’o’s Oscar dress has been returned and the guy who took it told his story to TMZ because, he said, he wanted to the world to know that Hollywood is just fake BS. He described how he cased the joint, learning where the cameras on the floor of Lupita’s hotel room were angled so he could sneak into her room without being caught on tape. He waited until the door was ajar and then rushed in, grabbed the dress, and threw over the balcony to his accomplice waiting down below. Then the thief took two of the pearls from the dress down to the Garment District for appraisal, which is when he found out they were fakes. So the thief put the dress in a garbage bag, took it back to the hotel and left it in the bathroom near the hotel’s fitness center.

Kelly Osbourne has left “Fashion Police” but it’s not clear whether she quit or was fired. E! issued a statement saying Kelly left to pursue other opportunities, but sources behind the scenes say producers had enough with her attitude and showed her the door. Kelly reportedly has been miserable to work with since Joan Rivers passed away. She’s been at odds with new host Kathy Griffin and then she very publicly threw her cohost Giuliana Rancic under the bus over the whole “patchouli oil and weed” comment directed toward Zendaya.  There are rumors that Khloe Kardashian and NeNe Leakes are being considered for Kelly’s old spot on the panel.
