Chester Bennington was found dead… O.J. granted parole… Bella Thorne claims video leak is fake… Kevin Hart says he’s not cheating… and Ryan Seacrest will return as host of ‘American Idol’

It was so shocking and sad to hear that the lead singer for Linkin Park — Chester Bennington — committed suicide yesterday. He was only 41. Chester was very close to Chris Cornell, who committed suicide by hanging two months ago, which is how Chester also took his life. And yesterday would’ve been Chris’ 53rd birthday. Chester leaves behind a wife and six children.

O.J. is free to leave! He just has to wait until October first. After serving nine of his 33 years for a robbery and kidnapping conviction, the Nevada Board of Parole has paroled O.J. Simpson. So after he’s freed, what’s O.J.’s next move? Sources told Page Six that he’s being inundated with offers to do a reality show. But whatever he ends up doing for work, it will have to be approved by the parole board.

It may LOOK like her, but Bella Thorne says that raunchy video that was leaked online yesterday is fake. She tweeted, “Hahahahaha wait you guys think this is real? Hahahaha. I don’t even (take care of business) like that. Where’s the (tool with which you take care of business) thooo” followed by a couple of “laughing until I’m crying” emojis. Now in this video that Bella says is fake, you hear fake Bella saying, “I really needed a father.” And that, Bella says, crossed the line. She tweeted, “The worst part of this video is them making fun of the fact that I lost my father. You’re right. Me being daddyless is sooooo funny.”

Kevin Hart says it doesn’t matter how the pictures look, he did not cheat on his pregnant wife. Back on July 3, somebody with very poor photography skills shot video of Kevin in a car with a couple of women outside a Miami Beach hotel. It was around 5am. But Kevin’s explanation that he wasn’t cheating is pretty weak. He told Entertainment Tonight, “It’s Miami. The clubs close at 6 am, so I was actually going home early.” What does that have to do with anything? Kevin and Eniko Parrish were married last August. They announced in May that they’re expecting a baby boy.

ABC has announced that the deal is done, and Ryan Seacrest will be back to host the new version of “American Idol.” In a statement, ABC said so much of American Idol’s overwhelming success can be attributed to Ryan, so how could they go with anyone else? And in case you are interested, open auditions for the first season of the new “American Idol” begin Aug. 17 in Orlando, Florida, and Portland, Oregon.
