Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade floats… Khloe Kardashian’s holiday menu… Taraji P. Henson “White Hot Holidays” special… Ashley Graham’s confusing Instagram post… and Tyrese Gibson’s new parenting conditions
If you’re like me and you have the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on in the background while you’re getting ready for the massive food-fest, you might want to actually sit down in front of the TV for a minute and catch some of the artists scheduled to perform. For the littlest kids, you’ve got the Muppets of Sesame Street. Former Disney stars Sabrina Carpenter and Olivia Holt will also be lip-synching on top of some floats, along with Bebe Rexha, Andy Grammer, Andra Day and Common, Jimmy Fallon and The Roots, Flo Rida, the Goo Goo Dolls, and 98 Degrees, just to name a few.
I know it’s pretty much the last minute, but if you’re still undecided on what you’ll be serving alongside the turkey for Thanksgiving, perhaps Khloe Kardashian’s holiday menu will inspire you. Khloe is hosting in Cleveland for the second year because that’s where her baby daddy Tristan Thompson plays basketball. It’s pretty much the same menu she served last year. It’s pretty much the same menu she served Thanksgiving 2016: turkey, greens with smoked turkey, stuffing, sweet potato souffle, sweet creamed corn, mac and cheese, corn bread, gravy and wings. For dessert, Khloe’s offerings will be apple pie, pumpkin pie, cinnamon buns and cookies.
Taraji P. Henson loves Christmas because DUH. And she’s super excited to host another “White Hot Holidays” special for FOX, only this time she gets to do it by herself and not with Terrence Howard tagging along. Among the celebrity guests are Fergie, the Ying Yang Twins, Ciara and Faith Hill. We know they can rap, but can Salt ’N Pepa act? They’re playing Sugar ’N Spice in a skit, with Taraji as Mrs. Claus and Method Man as the Tooth Fairy. We’ll have to watch on December 9th to find out what that’s about…Salt ’N Pepa — aka, Cheryl James and Sandra Denton — are also set to guest star on “Empire” next season.
On Sunday night, just hours before the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show got under way in Shanghai, Ashley Graham posted a picture on her Instagram showing her strutting down the runway in her underwear with feathered wings flared up behind her. She captioned it, “Got my wings!” But she was psyching us out. She re-posted the picture, minus the wings, but still strutting her stuff in her undies. She captioned it “….my #AdditionElle wings!” and added “#thickthighssavelives.”
Tyrese did succeed in getting 50/50 custody of his daughter, Shayla, but now we’re finding out there were some conditions to that. Tyrese is no longer allowed to spank his 10-year-old daughter, and neither can his ex-wife. They both must enroll in high-conflict parenting classes and joint therapy with a psychologist. Tyrese must take parenting classes focused on appropriate discipline of his daughter. And Shayla must undergo individual counseling. Happy Thanksgiving!
