Tragedy in Lafayette, Louisiana… “Jurassic World” sequel… Ryan Seacrest and Kris Jenner team up… Have John Mayer and Katy Perry have broken up… and Taylor Swift apologizes to Nicki Minaj
Tragedy at a movie theater in Lafayette, Louisiana, last night. About 100 people were seated in a theater to watch “Trainwreck” and about 10 minutes into the movie, a man stood up and started firing. Two people were killed and nine others wounded before the gunman took his own life. He has been identified as 59-year-old John Russel Houser. Lafayette’s police chief described him as “kind of a drifter” from Alabama who’d been staying in a Lafayette hotel since early July. When police searched his hotel room, they said they found various disguises. Police are still trying to determine his motive.
Due to the overwhelming success of “Jurassic World,” Universal Pictures has announced that a sequel is in development and should hit theaters on June 22, 2018! Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard are expected to be back for round two. “Jurassic World” has become the third-highest grossing movie of all time with a worldwide gross of $1.522 billion. The top spot is still held by “Avatar.” “Titanic” is second.
Ryan Seacrest teamed up with Kris Jenner to throw Kylie Jenner a surprise high school graduation party. Kylie has been home-schooled since 2012. Kylie’s famous sisters were among the guests, along with Kylie’s boyfriend Tyga, Gigi Hadid and Khloe’s new boyfriend, James Harden. No expense was spared. There was a photo booth, a dance floor and synchronized swimmers who performed for the guests. Kylie posted a picture of her graduation presents — a Cartier nail bracelet and a gold and diamond Rolex. She captioned it, “It never ends!”
According to E!, John Mayer and Katy Perry have broken up AGAIN. This would be the FOURTH time, people. A source didn’t give any specific reason for the breakup, but did point out they they are known to make up. So don’t be surprised if they end up back together again soon.
Taylor Swift caved and tweeted her apology to Nicki Minaj. She said, “I thought I was being called out. I missed the point, I misunderstood, then misspoke. I’m sorry, Nicki.” Lucky for “Good Morning America” Nicki was booked as a guest this morning and she talked about the recently quashed feud. She said, “We’re all good! We spoke for a long time on the phone. We were cracking up laughing. It’s over.” And there you have it!
