Anxious to try this out. I just recently started liking eggs a little bit so hoping this is really as good as you say. One thing though....you put the knife that you used for butter in the eggs and then back in the butter! Hope you guys threw that butter out. Lol.

water helps because the microwaves excite the water molecules creating heat this is why the food gets hot and the plate does not microwaves dont penetrate the ceramic or plastic as well.
