She was one of the greatest soap opera actresses of all time. Jeanne Cooper — the woman who joined “The Young and the Restless” back in 1973 and gave us the greatness of Katherine Chancellor for four decades — has passed away. She was 84. Earlier this year, Jeanne threw herself into promoting the 40th anniversary of “Y&R.” Right after that, she came down with an infection and never recovered. Her son, actor Corbin Bernsen, tweeted the news of his mother’s passing yesterday morning, saying, “She was in peace and without fear. U all have been incredible in your love. In her name share it 2 day with others.”
Last year, rumors were flying all over the place that Britney Spears was going to set up residency at one of the big casinos in Vegas. That talk finally died down, but apparently, this is really going to happen, people!! Britney is on the cover of this month’s “Shape” magazine and in the accompanying article, she says, “The (Vegas) performances won’t be simple. They’ll be a massive party from start to finish. And to pull this off, I have to be in top condition and running at full speed.” “The Las Vegas Sun” is reporting that details about Britney’s gig won’t be announced for three weeks, but sources say she’s going to be performing in a new theater being built for her in Planet Hollywood.

Chris actually used to play at this same court all the time when he first moved to NY to start his singing career. Lots of controversy at the start of “The Voice” last night. At the very start of the first live elimination round, Carson Daly came out with the CEO of Telescope, which tallies the voting results for the show. Carson explained there was a glitch with the texting and online voting, so all of those results were being thrown out. HOWEVER! Carson insisted that these now invalid votes had no effect on the outcome. WHATEVER!! Tell that to the people who got eliminated!
Liam Hemsworth’s big brothers decided enough was enough! Chris and Luke decided it was time to stage an intervention, telling Liam is was time to be rid of Miley Cyrus once and for all. “Us Weekly” is reporting that this all went down last month. They told Liam that Miley is toxic and they want him to end their on and off relationship once and for all. Reportedly, Liam listened! And even though Miley’s in denial, thinking this is just another bump in their relationship, Liam is done. He’s just waiting for Miley to accept it so there can be a formal announcement.
