Remember when that Disney star Kyle Massey and Bristol Palin were on “Dancing With the Stars” at the same time? And remember how after that was over, they were supposed to be doing a reality show together where Kyle and his brother Christopher moved in with Bristol? And then we don’t hear anything and suddenly Bristol pops up with her own show on called “Life’s a Tripp,” which debuted on Lifetime last night. So what happened to the Massey brothers? Well! Kyle and Christopher have filed a lawsuit claiming they’re the ones who came up with this idea for the show, where they move in with Bristol and help her adjust to life in LA while raising her son, Tripp. They even had a name for it — “Bristology 101.” But some big-time producer comes along, edits them out of the show, renames it and sells it to Lifetime. The Masseys claim they were guaranteed half a million to star in the show, PLUS they think they should get even more money because they’re the ones who came up with the idea for a show in the first place. They’re asking the judge to pull the show off the air until the matter is resolved, but the ratings might make that happen before a judge can get around to ruling on it….Did anybody watch it?
Jim Carrey has dropped out of the “Dumb and Dumber” sequel, titled “Dumb and Dumber To.” The Farrelly brothers said both Jim and Jeff Daniels had signed on to play Harry and Lloyd again and filming was set to begin this fall. But with Jim no longer involved, will they even bother doing it at all?
The sheriff’s department has finished their investigation and turned over all of their findings to the DA’s office. Now it’s up to the DA to decide if Justin Bieber will be charged with a crime for allegedly roughing up an 18-year-old photographer outside a movie theater in Calabasas last month.
A photographer for the “New York Daily News” has filed an assault complaint against Alec Baldwin. He was waiting for Alec and his fiancee Hilaria Thomas outside the city’s Marriage License Bureau yesterday morning. He claims Alec went crazy nuts on him, shoving, pushing and punching him. But Alec claims he was the victim here, tweeting about how a “photographer” almost hit him in the face with his camera. But many think Alec went too far when he later compared the incident to the Trayvon Martin/George Zimmerman case, saying, “I suppose if the offending paparazzi was wearing a hood and I shot him, it would all blow over.”
Back in April of last year, a 7-year-old girl in England suffered an extremely rare brain hemorrhage that left her in a week-long coma. Charlotte Neve’s mother was by her daughter’s side in the hospital room, listening to the radio, when Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep” came on. Mom climbed up into Charlotte’s bed and held her as she sang the song to her, and Charlotte smiled!! The nurses said it was like mom “unlocked” Charlotte, and from that day on, she began to improve. Within 2 days, she began speaking and getting up from her bed. Two months later, she started learning to walk and talk again. And now, over a year later, Charlotte still suffers from partial blindness and memory loss and doctors say it may be a while before they know if the damage is permanent. But mom is just so thankful that her daughter has come this far, and she says she has Adele to thank for it.
