I’ve had a few bands at my restaurant over the years. And I’ve had some really good ones. But Saturday, I had Blake Nation, a tribute band for Blake Shelton, and I haven’t had that much fun in a long time. The house was packed and people sang along to every song. Fake Blake kinda sorta even looked like Blake. And then, it happened. He invited me to join him up on stage to “help” him sing Neon Lights. I was praying that I would remember the words. Maybe I forgot a few of them but it was ok…Blake was there. It was lots of fun.

Yesterday, as I was sitting in a restaurant, a total stranger brought me a gift of cheesecake. Ok, there was a reason. About an hour earlier, she asked if she could sit in my car and take a picture. Not only did I let her, I told her and all of her friends they could get in and take a pic. I took the pic and away they went. Then, like I said, she came back into the restaurant and brought me a slice of cheesecake in a jar as a thank you gift. That made my day!
Today is the day that our TV show premiers. This is very exciting and could be the start of something BIG…At least, we all hope so.
