Well, this is something that I’ve never had to deal with before. My landlord of my bar in Mexico has decided to not rent the property (to us) any more. That sounds to me like she has sold the property. Or maybe someone came in and offered the landlord more money than I was paying.

big-al-blog-pic-040215Time will tell but I guess it doesn’t really matter at this point. I have rented the same spot for the past 7 years. This is a pretty devastating blow. The Beer Bucket has been in the same spot for at least 10 years. But now, It looks like its gonna have to move in 2 months. That, coincidentally, is a week after our 7 year anniversary. Unless, I have missed something in the translation, our location is about to be stolen right underneath our feet. I guess businesses move all of the time but this is different. It’s on a great street and in business, its Location, Location, Location! It’s two blocks from the beach.

I love that bar. It was the first bar that I’ve ever owned. It is what started me into the bar business. Ok, I’ll quit crying. Stay tuned for how this situation unfolds.
