When I was asked to MC a fashion show this past weekend in exchange for a custom suit, I jumped on that. But when it came time for the actual event, there were a couple of problems. The first one was what in the heck do I wear? I wasn’t exactly sure. There’s not a lot in my closet that I deemed fashion show attire. Especially since the designer that was being showcased was a men’s suit designer. In fact, my ONE really nice suit was NOWHERE to be found. So, after 30 minutes of going through my closet, I made my selection… Khaki! Yes, khaki pants and a white jacket. Ok, it was not much of a fashion risk. It was more of a Best Buy greeter meets a Walgreens pharmacist. But I owned it. All of those models and fashion show goers wearing their skinny pants and skinny jackets and skinny ties and skinny shirts…they had nothing on my 38” waist Khakis.
Also, in case anyone was wondering, I think I broke Bumble. I live in the 5th largest city in the United States and I have finally reached the end of Bumble. I have swiped so much that I finally got the message: “Looks like you’re out of people”
How do I run out of people?
