Maybe the rest of the world knew that Meghan Markle was half-black but I just found out. NOW, I’m a little bit interested in the royal wedding. Before, it was just another wedding to me but now… I have so many questions. Will this be the first time that black folks will be at a “Royal” wedding? But on the flip side, I’m happy for any 2 people that find happiness. Royal or not…

So, the office Christmas party is this weekend and I think I’ll go dateless. Any person that I would take would either be strictly a friend or a first date. I’m not sure if I want to take anyone that would fall into either of those categories to the office party. I haven’t been single (during the holidays) for 5 years. Fortunately, I’ve been so busy lately that I haven’t had much time to think about my singleness. I’m guessing it will hit me at some point. The thing that I miss most is buying something for someone for Christmas. That’s actually pretty fun to me.

Three days until the opening of the new restaurant. There’s still LOTS to do. My chairs did arrive yesterday so customers will be able to sit. That’s very important at a restaurant. But I have yet to buy some key things like pots, pans, plates, knives, forks, food… haha! YES, you heard me… I have not bought a single plate! REALLY. I was going to buy them on Tuesday but I got tied up with some other stuff. I hate to be negative about my own opening but I’m a little, NO, A LOT NERVOUS! I really can’t explain why this one makes me so nervous. Probably because I don’t have plates!
