Empire wasn’t a mind blowing season premier episode or anything but at least it was good. The major thing that was a disappointment was the hour before the show. I could have sworn that Tuesday night, my girlfriend said to me, “Can we stay home and I’ll cook?” but apparently she just said I’ll come over and we can get something to eat. Because when she showed up, she had no groceries.

So, we ended up going to Popeyes. You know they can get you in and out of Popeyes chicken in 10 minutes. But then, I felt kind of stereotypical when I got back home. I was sitting there watching a “Black” show, (Empire), on TV while eating Fried Chicken. I was so upset with myself; I don’t think I even finished drinking my “Purple Drank.”
