Today is the day that I am turning over possession of Mckinney Avenue Tavern. We have moved most of the “stuff” out. But there are lots of things that had to stay behind. A beautiful pergola that I had installed a few years back that cost thousands of dollars… The brick pizza oven that also cost thousands of dollars… A huge walk in cooler that we kept our beer in that yes, cost thousands of dollars… But, even with these losses, I thank God for ALL of my blessings. I’m not really sure what the next thing is that He has in store for me. Right now, I will focus on my new location in Waxahachie, Texas. It is so much better to have one location that is making money that to have multiple that are struggling. My friend Jerry Reynolds told me that.

Let me say thank you right now to ALL of the people that have sent kind messages on social media or emails or even those that were walking by and said something nice to me the last couple days. It’s nice to know that there are still kind people out there. Thank you all for the LOVE!

Wanna hear something kinda funny. My shipment of t-shirts came in yesterday! I ordered 72 shirts about 2 weeks ago and they arrived just as I was leaving the MAT last night. I had to laugh!
