Big Al’s Blog: Karaoke & Luke Bryan

My weekend was pretty low key actually. Friday, the bar was REALLY slow. In fact, it was so slow, while I was singing karaoke; I went around the room and met everyone while standing on stage. I literally was just asking people their names and where they were from. It was like Q and A at a bar in the middle of karaoke. It was my way of getting people in the mood to sing. I guess it kinda worked. After about 10 minutes of me talking, people started to sign up to sing.

luke-bryan-300x300Saturday morning, my gym was closed because they had no electricity. So, I drove 10 miles away to another gym and got my workout on there instead. Then after an afternoon of football at the bar, a few buddies and me went to the Luke Bryan Concert. We really didn’t have great seats, so we really just walked around for an hour or so. And then it was back to the bar for karaoke. J-Si and I sang a little and I called it an early night. Ok, I actually sang about 4 songs in a row. I really need to get help at karaoke rehab. But anyway, a dude bought a round of shots at the concert so that kind on made my night end early.

Sunday, I went to church with mom and then it was more football at my bar. Then, I had to pay my last respects to the restaurant that I have gone to for dinner for about the last 4-5 years. They are now closed for good and my world is rocked. Where will I get my salmon?
