We’re back from Mexico! And it was a fun, fun trip. The first day we sat at the beach, at the bar, at the beach bar, 4 wheeled in the jungle, swam in the ocean, sat in the swings at the bar, hung out with NFL players, smoked cigars, did tequila shots, and of course, I looked for alternative locations for the Beer Bucket in Playa del Carmen.

My girlfriend went with me as well as J-Si, Kinsey, and 2 other couples. As soon as I got there, my mission was to find another possible location for my bar since my landlord is not renewing my lease. I found a couple but nothing that is the “perfect” spot yet. But one of my employees expressed his feeling toward our landlord by saying, “they are taking our livelihood from us!” That is the really messed up part of the situation but hey, maybe, it will work out in the end.

We ran into a couple of NFL players in Mexico and hung out with them a little. Golden Tate and Reggie Bush were down there vacationing as well and we hung out with them a little. Reggie’s wife is beautiful (and pregnant)… They were all very nice. No real drama to report which, I know is boring, but there’s not a lot of chance for stuff to go real bad when all you do is sit on the beach. But that’s the way that I like to spend my vacation.

As usual, I was the first one to call it a night every night while J-Si and a few of the others had multiple stories the next day. I would wake up at 7am where they would roll out of bed around 11am or something… It’s funny how we went on the same vacation and we both had such different experiences. Read J-Si’s blog if you want to hear really cool stories about the weekend… My weekend and his were totally different. Trust me!!! 🙂
