When I say that packing my kitchen should be the easiest room in my house to move, here’s why:

There is food in my kitchen cabinet but there is NO REASON to pack it up. All food in my cabinet has been there for a LONG time. I mean a LOOOOONG time. There’s no reason to pack this stuff. It should all just be thrown away. So, I guess that means when I do get settled into the new place, one of my first stops will be the grocery store.

In fact, I will need to visit a LOT of stores. There’s lots of new stuff to buy to furnish the new place. Sure, I’m taking my bed and a couple bar stools and a few other items… but for the most part, this is going to be a period of my life very similar to when I got a divorce. I’m basically moving myself, clothes and starting over. But this time, I’m doing it this way by choice.
