In just a little over two weeks, Blake Shelton will be in town and performing about 1 mile from my bar. And most likely, he’ll be staying at a hotel about the same distance away as well. So, what does all this mean? Well, if there was ever a chance to get him to have a beer at my bar, this is it. In the past, I have posted signs inviting celebrities to stop by. I have to admit, it’s only worked once. But it did work to get Khloe Kardashian to stop by. So, there is a chance. It’s a small chance but there is a chance. And he has told me that he would stop by and he does drink beer. So, I guess all I can do is to wait and keep my fingers crossed.
I thought I had a date lined up this weekend but it fell through. She had some family stuff that came up and she called to let me know that it would be really tough for her to make it. So, I was solo through another weekend. Then again, I’ve been solo for the last 8 months so it really wasn’t that big of a deal. But I did find myself hugging my pillow like it was a new girlfriend this weekend. There’s nothing like spooning your pillow. haha
